I actually wrote this one when I was 16 or 17.. can't remember for sure, and the funny thing is, I didn't even "mean it" then.. I was just kind of half-assedly throwing some words over a little melody I was plucking out on a guitar. wrote it and forgot it, you could say.. Anyway, over the last weekend for some reason the old melody came back into my mind, along with the words, and suddenly now they fit how I was feeling, and what I was thinking, more than they ever did before... so what else could I do? I plugged in the keyboard and went to work...
